I graduated from Texas A & M International University in 2011 with a Bachelor's of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies, and Sam Houston State University (SHSU) in 2013 with a Master's of Library Science. I obtained a Doctorate of Education in Instructional Design Systems and Technology from SHSU in 2022. Finally, I completed a Principal Professional Certificate from Texas A & M International University.

I hold a Texas Educator Certificate in Early Childhood through 6th Grade - Bilingual and a Library Media Specialist Certification Early Childhood - 12th Grade. I also hold a Texas Principal as Instructional Leader Certification Early Childhood – 12^th. I have been an Instructional Technology Teacher for over 10 years. I also have coached High School JV and Freshman Volleyball teams at JB Alexander High School.

I am a member of the Texas Computer Education Association and the Texas Library Association.
